This expertise is led by a senior management team encompassing professionals who have worked across the broad spectrum of marketing, market research, new product development, advertising, strategic brand planning, and medical research for consumer and healthcare brands, including many Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies.
Lloyd Morgan General Manager, LondonLloyd has been providing consultancy advice to healthcare clients for the last 30 years from a European base. He has also spent several years working out of the USA.
A recognised expert in market access, he has lectured and run workshops on market access at industry meetings and dedicated individual company programmes. Lloyd's specialist areas include pricing and access research projects, Global Payer Advisory Boards and access consultancy. Lloyd has also advised pharma companies on organising for market access.
Lloyd has a degree in History from Manchester University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Adelphi Group he worked for Astra Zeneca.
Phil Dunn Managing Director, EU, LondonAs well as being MD of the EU office, Phil also heads up THE QuantSHOP, a specialist quantitative research practice at THE PLANNING SHOP.
His role encompasses innovation on new research approaches, working with clients on quantitative research studies and facilitating brainstorms and workshops for client specific projects.
With more than 25 years experience of managing quantitative research Phil has a wealth of expertise in segmentation, conjoint and pricing as well as communications testing (such as message and concept testing).
Sherry Fox President, North AmericaA career insights strategist, Sherry established the US subsidiary for THE PLANNING SHOP in March 2007, assuming the role of President North America. During her tenure, she has created Oncology and Rare Disease Centers of Excellence in response to industry trends, to drive company growth and profits, and secured Preferred Vendor status at several major pharmaceutical clients. She facilitated the due diligence process for the acquisition of the company by Omnicom, and continuously innovates new techniques, seeking collaboration opportunities throughout the Omnicom network to add value for clients.
Sherry began her career at Intersearch (now part of Kantar Health), and led the insights division of Verispan (now part of IQVIA), an integrated marketing services firm, for 15 years before joining THE PLANNING SHOP. Based on her background in data analytics, Sherry is passionate about leveraging technology, including predictive analytics, AI, machine learning, and virtual reality to enhance strategic brand recommendations and deliverables to clients.
Dori Stern Global Client Strategy Director, New YorkDori has a degree in Advertising Design from Cornell University and an MBA in Marketing from New York University.
Since graduating from New York University Dori spent seven years at Young & Rubicam Advertising, NY, where was an SVP and Planning Director for their then-largest account, the US Army Recruitment Command.
In the mid-90s Dori transferred to Y&R Europe, where she spent more than seven years in market research and consultancy at Wirthlin Worldwide. Her time there saw her focus entirely on pharma business.
Mary Dominiecki Vice President, Oncology, North AmericaMary leads the Oncology Research Group at THE PLANNING SHOP, managing the strategic direction of the team and overseeing all oncology research projects. Her oncology experience has covered virtually every tumor type including solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
Before joining the Company, Mary worked in the bio-oncology group at National Analysts Worldwide (now NAXION). She has also held various positions serving the pharma industry, including Clinical Publications Lead at AstraZeneca, Medical Director for an oncology-focused medical communications agency, and Senior Medical Writer in several therapeutic areas.
Mary holds a PhD in Basic Medical Sciences from The New York University and a BS in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University. She also has extensive experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in biology, genetics, immunology, and microbiology.
Caroline Mathie Vice President, Rare Diseases, LondonCaroline leads the Rare Disease Group at THE PLANNING SHOP.
After studying Medical Bio-chemistry, Caroline spent 14 years at IMS Health, over 10 years as an independent, director-level consultant and four years as a director at J & D Associates.
Throughout her career, Caroline has had an active interest in orphan diseases and has expertise in a wide range of orphan disease conditions, including various lysosomal storage disorders.
Stephen Godwin Head of Key Opinion Leader Research, LondonStephen began his professional life as a post-doctoral, serotonin-receptor scientist, evolving through pharma industry (with Merck and Lilly), UK retail and International Management Consulting into pure marketing research on the agency side. Following 11 years of general healthcare research as a TNS Healthcare Board Director, he joined Isis, (later Synovate) to develop and hone a speciality in international scientific opinion leader research - focused principally on assessing drugs early in the pipeline. Currently, Stephen is Head of Key Opinion Leader Research at THE PLANNING SHOP.
Jacqueline Dewar Global Financial Controller, LondonWith over 25 years in various finance and senior management roles in diverse industries as Entertainment, Property, and Marketing, Jacqueline joined THE PLANNING SHOP in 2012 to help develop the finance team and create efficiencies and improvements in the company.
Claire Macchia Vice President, North AmericaClaire has over 14 year's experience in primary qualitative and quantitative healthcare marketing research in addition to prior agency-side experience in health outcomes and medical communications.
During her time at THE PLANNING SHOP, she has led several highly successful collaborations and - as someone who loves to innovate - her passion has been to find creative new ways to solve client’s complex business problems.
Claire brings a wealth of global experience to the Company, having attended research in the US, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and South Africa, to name but a few.
Claire holds a Masters Degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, UK, with a specialism in Molecular Biology.
Nick Ross Senior Research Director, LondonNick joined the healthcare market research world in 1997, working for a UK-focused agency on both qualitative and quantitative research. He originally joined for just two weeks, but stayed for 17 years, during which time he ran the IT support (as a geek at heart), and eventually became the Director of Research.
In 2014, Nick joined THE PLANNING SHOP as a part of the UK team, but quickly expanded to running global research projects. He is now responsible for running multi-market studies across many accounts, and has a keen interest in developing a wider base of clients.
Nick has a degree in Economics from the University of Bath.
Tim Parr Senior Director, Global Business Support, LondonTim started his career in consumer research before moving to THE PLANNING SHOP to focus on healthcare. Fast forward 12 years, and he has moved from directing the UK business to leading Global Business Support. This is a wide-ranging role that covers budgeting, resourcing and – his first love – training and development.
Tim has a degree in American Studies from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Emily South Innovation Director, LondonEmily South is Innovation Director at THE PLANNING SHOP. With a curiosity for people, stories and problem solving, Emily drives the development of new research approaches and tools for effective brand building.
Emily has a BSc Hons in Anatomy and Human Biology, and Biomedical Science from the University of Liverpool.
