Research Manager - Qualitative Research

Research Manager - Qualitative Research US based, Virtual Office Environment

We’re looking for a talented and passionate researcher to join our growing team in the US. All 30 members of the US team work virtually, based throughout the Philadelphia and New York areas. This position reports directly to one of our Research Directors and is a unique opportunity for you to showcase your consultancy approach to research.

Success in this position is measured by your ability to manage multiple qualitative and quantitative, local and international projects by both leading and supporting others on the project from proposal to debrief; to be part of the team, helping to build the client base by attracting repeat business from successful project delivery and over servicing.

We’re looking for you if you have a bachelor’s degree, four years’ experience working in a market research agency with a pharmaceutical focus (preferably in multiple therapeutic areas), expertise in ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative market research techniques, and high standards in terms of quality products and client service, and the ability to work proactively in a virtual environment, and a willingness to travel for fieldwork as required.
Research Director – Head of Patient Research Group

Research Director – Head of Patient Research Group UK based, Ealing office

If you’re looking for your next research role, find out more about a new Research Director position that has become available at THE PLANNING SHOP, with a focus on improving our patient research offering and proposals. The successful candidate will also develop our business further in stand-alone patient research studies including, but not limited to, ethnography, patient communities, patient data scraping as well as face-to-face and online methodologies. He/she will also build our business in OTC and Prescription to OTC Transfer and develop our research offering in the DTC space, particularly in the US.

The post-holder will report into a Senior Research Director or Deputy MD and will be given the opportunity to grow the Patient Research Group as patient research work is generated.

Requirement: a minimum of five years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency with time spent with a healthcare, OTC and pharmaceutical products focus. Client-side experience also an advantage.
Research Executive – Qualitative

Research Executive – Qualitative UK based, Ealing office

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of UK’s leading specialist pharmaceutical global market research agencies, in the post of Research Executive in our London office. The chosen post holder will be required to support the day-to-day management of mainly qualitative projects from proposal stage to final presentation, including: delivering client ready material to the Project Leader; participating in discussions regarding the purchasing and selection of service suppliers and freelancers; contributing ideas on the approach and methodologies in order to fully meet the client's requirements; adding project costs and time schedules into the project budget; and working closely with the project manager on all aspects of the project plan.

Requirement: good market research skills in specialised qualitative techniques and models, and a minimum of one years’ experience working in an ad hoc market research; some understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in the UK or globally, and/or an enthusiasm to learn about the pharma/healthcare sector; good client handling skills including the ability to actively listen. Post holder should also be prepared to travel for fieldwork (international and domestic) frequently.
Senior Research Executive – Oncology

Senior Research Executive – Oncology UK based, Ealing office

This is an exciting and interesting virtual role working in THE PLANNING SHOP’s Oncology team in the London office. The successful post holder will be required to project-plan and implement qualitative (and quantitative) research projects from proposal to final presentation stage, working within the Oncology Unit’s research team, alongside a Project Leader and Consultant. The main focus will be to support and manage insightful oncology research projects, trying to gain repeat business from clients.

Requirement: good market research skills in specialised qualitative techniques and models, and a minimum of two years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency (two years of which should have been at Research Executive level). Post holder should also be prepared to travel for fieldwork as required.
Research Executive - Quantitative

Join one of the UK’s leading specialist pharmaceutical global market research agencies, in the post of Research Executive.
